Thank you for taking the time to check out my website.  Making the decision to seek out a therapist can be an intimidating process, so I have assembled information here to explain more about the work I do and what you might expect when coming to see me.  Ultimately, psychotherapy is about emotional healing and improving the ability to manage feelings and relationships by strengthening our sense of self.

Therapy is a journey of discovering how life’s experiences have shaped and developed our sense of self.  It is an opportunity to tell your story, in your own words, and develop a compassionate understanding of your life experiences and how some of them may have created difficulty for you.  Out of that very understanding develops the power to make choices that move you forward, rather than keeping you in a cycle of frustration, even when those choices scare you.
